This major international meeting will bring together the trade ministers of member states to define the major orientations of the multilateral trading system.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organized at <strong>Mont F\u00e9b\u00e9 Hotel<\/strong>, The conference takes place in a global context marked by debates on the reform of the institution, the adaptation of trade rules to economic transformations, the digitization of trade, food security and the challenges of sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the preparations, the Prime Minister, Head of Government, <strong>Joseph Dion Ngute<\/strong>, and the Minister of Commerce, <strong>Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana<\/strong>, In the course of their visit to the H\u00f4tel Mont F\u00e9b\u00e9 site, the team members inspected the site where the work was to be carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of the visit was to assess the state of progress of the logistical, security and organizational arrangements. The Cameroonian authorities intend to ensure that the event runs smoothly and under optimum conditions, both in terms of protocol and technical aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-des-enjeux-majeurs-pour-l-avenir-du-commerce-mondial\">Major challenges for the future of world trade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministerial Conference, the supreme decision-making body of <strong>WTO<\/strong>, is a key moment for strengthening international trade governance, improving decision-making mechanisms, consolidating the dispute settlement system, further integrating developing economies and promoting digital trade and economic transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decisions expected in Yaound\u00e9 could have a lasting influence on the architecture of world trade, and redefine certain strategic priorities for the years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As host country, the <strong>Cameroon <\/strong>intends to make this conference a diplomatic and organizational success.
