An unannounced visit by the Minister of Public Health to the Centre M\u00e9dical d'Arrondissement (CMA) in Lobo revealed serious malfunctions. With its lack of staff, insalubrious conditions and virtually inactive services, the facility is struggling to fulfill its mission. Faced with this worrying situation, the authorities have announced measures to breathe new life into the facility. In an effort to monitor the health care system, the Minister of Public Health, Manaouda Malachie, made a surprise visit to the CMA de Lobo. The visit was prompted by worrying information received by his superiors. He deemed it necessary to carry out a direct verification. As soon as he arrived, the member of the government discovered a situation that was more serious than expected. The findings were unequivocal. The establishment, which is supposed to serve as a local reference, has numerous organizational and sanitary shortcomings.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CMA de Lobo: serious malfunctions observed by the Minsant\u00e9<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This situation suggests a gradual disengagement on the part of local residents. Many may turn to other, sometimes distant, centers. Others may resort to self-medication or informal solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This malfunction also has consequences for equipment. Medical equipment is deteriorating through lack of use and maintenance. The building is also gradually deteriorating. Cracks are appearing and there is a general lack of maintenance. The result is a vicious circle. The less the center functions, the more it deteriorates. And the more it deteriorates, the less patients it attracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minsant\u00e9 reforms to relaunch Lobo CMA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
